This is a swatch of ibd Precious Peridot, which is a hard color to explain. In some lights it looks very green and in others it looks more brown, but it has a gorgeous sparkly finish. I know my photos always look a bit matte and that’s because of the way the light is filtered in my lightbox and it doesn’t do the shimmers the justice that they deserve. I’ve been trying to find a way to make my lightbox not mute the shimmer like it does, but I haven’t found the perfect solution yet. Oh, I apparently also forgot to top coat the pinky finger, so that one looks even more matte! LOL
I really like the ibd brand for numerous reasons. It wears well, it’s extremely affordable at $7-8 per bottle, it applies well… all around it’s a great product. I will be adding more of these to my collection over time. I bought a bunch of pink shades from the ibd line so that I can test them for fading. I’ll share the results when I’m done.
