Starburst was one of the very first gel polish colors that I purchased. I started off with about 10 colors, and wore this one frequently. I haven’t used it in a long time and had forgotten how pretty it is! It’s a medium-to-dark purple with a shimmer finish and is opaque in 2-3 coats.
2012 Flashback! See my original Starburst swatches here… FYI, I didn’t have the same application issues this time. I think the bottle just needed a good shake!
Cashmere Kind of Gal is a light grey cream that was released in the 2012 House of Gelish Collection. When I first got this polish it had some issues with wrinkling due to the thickness of the formula. I added a few drops of gel polish thinner to the bottle and it applies very well now. This swatch is two coats.

Tip: Gel polish thinner is great for thinning out polishes with thicker formulas like this one, or to restore older gel polishes that have thickened. The shelf life of gel polish is said to be 18-24 months, but I have many polishes in my stash that are much older and are still in great condition. Store the bottles out of direct sunlight, in a moderate temperature (avoid extreme hot or cold temps), and thin them if needed and they should last a good long while!
